PM Oli receives invitation to visit China in December

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has received an invitation to visit China in the first week of December.


According to a foreign ministry source, Chinese Premier Li Qiang has sent an invitation to Prime Minister Oli to visit China from December 2 to 6.

"The invitation has come from their side; now a decision remains to be made from our side," the source said. The Prime Minister's Secretariat has also confirmed that the invitation specifies the dates for the visit.


This will be Prime Minister Oli's first official foreign visit since his appointment on July 15. Although he previously traveled to the United States to address the United Nations General Assembly, this marks his first formal visit abroad.
