KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has addressed the nation, marking the completion of his one year in office as the prime minister of the country.
In his televised speech held in Singha Durbar today, Prime Minister Oli boasted about various achievements, dubbing the completion of one year in office as the ‘foundation year’.
“It’s been a year since I took the helm of the country. We have initiated various programs, signed deals and contracts with various parties, laying a foundation for the remaining term of the government. The initiated programs will be completed in the remaining term of the government,” said Oli.

He went on to say that the government has already constructed 490 km road, 417 suspension bridges and registered 499 industries in the period of one year.
"Nepal improved ties with its neighboring countries during the period of one year," said Oli, adding, “ it has fostered diplomatic ties with as many as 163 countries so far.”
