According to the victim´s father Sanjay Dwivedi the prime minister gave words to the family that the government would leave no stone unturned to arrest the absconding kidnappers.[break]
The Dwivedi family had asked the prime minister to provide security and employment to their two daughters.
Kapil was kidnapped along with his bosom pal Liladhar Bhatta on September 30. His body was found buried near a paddy field in Indrapur-7, Motipur Wednesday two days after Liladhar´s beheaded torso was found in Khaskarkandou.
The abductors killed Kapil, 15, sawing his throat and buried him around two kilometers away from the District Police Office, though his father Sanjay had paid a ransom amount of one million rupees. Kapil´s body was found based on the information provided by the arrested kidnapper Madhesh Meraj Ahmad Sai (Adarsha), western region commander and Banke president of the Tarai Janatantrik Party.
A 10th grader at Jaya Bageshwari Higher Secondary School, Liladhar, and ninth grader at the same school Kapil were both the only sons of their parents. Permanent resident of Bhimdutta-7, Mahendranagar, Dinkar´s son Liladhar and daughter had been staying in Nepalgunj for their studies due to his frequent transfers. Liladhar had been staying at Kapil´s house for over six months on rent. Dinkar, a police sub inspector, is presently posted at the District Police Office, Jajarkot.
Though one of the kidnappers has been arrested, the accused are yet to return one million rupees that the Dwivedi family had paid to abductors as ransom. The prime minister assured the family that the government would ensure the return of the money, without elaborating how the government would go about it.
Kapil´s father Sanjay is the principal of the Nepal National Primary School. President of the management committee of the school Suresh Burma had got Kapil abducted due to personal animosity with Sanjay.
The prime minister also directed local authorities to transfer father Dubedi to Nepalgunj for security reasons.
