KATHMANDU, May 9: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has vowed not to let the country go statelessness.

Receiving a memorandum submitted by the Tanahun-Kathmandu Democratic Intellectual Society at his official residence at Baluwatar today, PM Koirala said that some forces have opted for provoking and misleading people against the government at the critical juncture but he would in no way to allow such acto to materialize.

PM Koirala noted that the government has taken control the situation though slight weaknesses were seen at the very beginning of quake-triggered human and physical loss.

Similarly, Prime Minister Koirala urged the civil society leaders and other organizations to join their hands in rescue and relief operations rather than unnecessarily playing truant on the sentiment of the people.

On the occasion, Society Chairperson Yadunath Khanal submitted the status report of the damages by the quake in Tanahun district.

He urged PM Koirala to include Tanahun as the most quake affected district as it has faced huge loss. RSS
