PM gets Obama invite

KATHMANDU, Sept 5: US President Barack Obama invited Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal to participate in a meeting on peacekeeping mission on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.



Geoffrey Moon, Charge d´affairs of the US Embassy in Nepal, handed over the invitation to the prime minister on Friday.



Obama has invited heads of states and governments of 10 countries involved in the peacekeeping missions to the meeting.
