BHAKTAPUR, Aug 29: Minister of State for Information and Communications Tapta Bahadur Bista has claimed that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s recent state visit to India has been successful.
Speaking at an interaction oraganized by Rafat Sanchar Club in Bhaktapur on Tuesday, State Minister Bista said Prime Minister Deuba put four his views clearly before his Indian counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit and there is point in criticizing about it.
Since political parties have already agreed to amend constitution as per the need and demands, it holds no meaning to make it a big issue, Bista added.
He further said that the government is all set to hold third phase of local level elections in Province 2.
Meanwhile, he urged one and all not to doubt whether the election would be held in Province 2 saying that Rastriya Janata Party Nepal, a key Madhesi party, has registered with the Election Commission.
