KATHMANDU, Nov 2: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has held a meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the World Leaders Summit being held in Glasgow, the UK, on Wednesday.

This is the first official engagement between the two leaders since Prime Minister Deuba assumed office. "The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen our close bilateral ties," said Indian External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.
The two leaders also discussed various other issues including climate, COVID-19 and resolved to work together toward post-pandemic recovery. Senior government officials from both the countries were present during the meeting between the two prime ministers.
