KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has left for the earthquake-affected area, accompanied by a team of health workers, to provide immediate rescue, search, and relief efforts.

His press advisor, Govinda Acharya, conveyed that Prime Minister Dahal left for Jajarkot, taking along with him a medical team consisting of 16 members from the Nepali Army.
The earthquake's epicenter was in Barekot, Jajarkot, striking at 11:45 PM, causing significant damage in Nalgad Municipality and Aathbiskot Municipality in Rukum West. The earthquake has resulted in the unfortunate loss of more than 73 lives to date.
