PLA commander killed in jeep accident

KATHMANDU, Aril 15: A company commander of the Maoist People’s Liberation Army was killed and five others were injured in a jeep accident at Rambapur in Nawalparasi district on Wednesday. Ramesh Rasaili, company Commander of Basanta Memorial Brigade under the PLA’s Fourth Division died on the spot. A resident of Rapkhola in Dang, Rasaili was chief of Health Department of the brigade. He was heading for Butwal to fetch medicine for the brigade and drop some PLA men at Butwal Hospital to have their health checked up. Their jeep, Ba 3 Cha 7259, turned turtle due to flat tire.
