KATHMANDU, July 11: The Parliamentary Hearings Special Committee (PHSC) has commenced its work by forming a three-member taskforce to formulate its working procedure on Tuesday.
A day after the parliament appointed members to give full shape to the committee, the PHSC held its first meeting under the leadership of its senior-most member Laxman Lal Karna at Singha Durbar. The meeting of the committee decided to appoint Yogesh Bhattarai and Shiva Kumar Mandal of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Pushpa Bhusal of Nepali Congress as members of the taskforce.
The three-member taskforce is entrusted to submit the draft of working procedure by Thursday. The hearings committee has 12 members from the lower house and three from the upper house.
