POKHARA, Aug 21: The District Administration Office (DAO), Kaski, has imposed prohibitory orders in the district since Wednesday in view of novel coronavirus spread.
Following the orders, movement of all private and public vehicles except for those included in the essential services has come to a grinding halt. Not only transportation but also other businesses and service activities other than essential ones have also been restricted.
Kaski Police has impounded as many as 120 vehicles on the charge of breaching the prohibitory orders.
Those not abiding by the prohibitory orders were held and released after being placed in holding centers. Kaski Police set up holding centers at nine different places.
