PHOTOS: Chinese tourists clash with police at Singha Durbar, 33 arrested

KATHMANDU, May 8: Thirty-three Chinese tourists were arrested from the capital on Friday following a clash between them and police.

KATHMANDU, May 8: Thirty-three Chinese tourists were arrested from the capital on Friday following a clash between them and police.

The Chinese nationals, who have been stuck in Nepal due to the nationwide lockdown enforced to curb the spread of the pandemic of novel coronavirus disease, reached Singha Durbar, the administrative center of the country, demanding that the Government of Nepal help them return to their country at the earliest. 


As they tried to enter the restricted area during this lockdown period, a clash broke out. Some tourists have sustained injuries in the clash.
