Pepsi unveils 20-20 promotion

KATHAMANDU, June 15: Varun Beverages Nepal is launching Pepsi 20-20 campaign from Sunday. According to a statement, ´Pepsi 20-20´ is an under the crown promotion which will run on 250-ml Pepsi, Mirinda, 7UP and Mountain Dew glass bottles with a red band on the crown. [break]



The campaign will last till August 6 across Nepal. The promotional campaign is being launched with a slogan ´Ru Bees Ma Bees Lakh, Jitau Lakhau Lakh´. Under the campaign, one lucky winner will win Rs 100,000 every day, while the bumper prize comprises a purse of Rs 2 million.



To participate in the campaign, consumers have to SMS seven-digit alphanumeric ´Unique Code´ printed on the crown of Pepsi, Mirinda, 7UP and Mountain Dew bottles to 7722. Participants will have to retain the crown and the SMS reply during the campaign duration, adds the statement. The winners will be selected through a lucky draw every Sunday in the presence of media, says the statement. The company has chosen national cricket team captain Paras Khadka to be the face of the campaign, adds the statement.



CG launches new air conditioners



Chaudhary Group (CG) has introduced a new range of CG air conditioners in the domestic market. These new air conditioners are: CG-09THCA, CG-12THCA, CG-18THCA and CG-24THCA.



 "One of the benefits of using these air conditioners is that they save money, as there is no need to buy additional voltage stabilizer,” says a press statement. "CG air conditioners have built-in voltage stabilizers that even work in low voltage of 160V. These air conditioners are suitable for the Terai region that frequently experience voltage fluctuation.” The air conditioners are available in the price range of Rs 40,580 to Rs 77,990. All the products come with one-year warranty, says the statement.



Panasonic´s smart TV hits market




KATHMANDU: Panasonic has launched a smart television called Viera Flat Panel Display in the domestic market.



The television was launched in the market by Triveni Byapar. According to a statement issued by Triveni, the new Viera offers features like My Home Screen, which provides instant access to favorite content, voice interaction, which lets users control the TV intuitively, and Swipe & Share 2.0 that allows users to easily link the TV with smartphones or tablets to share photos, videos and web pages. Viera´s new viewing and operating styles are also more comfortable, adds the statement.
