KATHMANDU, Jan 13: A large number of people are seen lined up at Shukraraj and Infectious Diseases Hospital in Teku to get vaccinated against COVID-19 on Thursday.


The government has recently made it mandatory to have a vaccination card for people to enter public offices, hotels, restaurants, cinemas and stadiums. The vaccination card is mandatory also to use air services and enter public places including parks from January 21.

The government made the decision following a sharp spike in the number of COVID-19 cases across the country in the past few days.
