People in Mugu walk two days for phone call

JUMLA, May 13: Locals of seven VDCs in the northern belt of Mugu district have been compelled to come to the district headquarters, Gamgadhi, after walking for two days on foot to make a phone call.



Locals of seven VDCs including Sarukot and Rara are compelled to visit the district headquarters due to technical problems seen on a Namaste tower of the Nepal Telecom at Murmara.



According to Mugu branch office of the Nepal Telecom, the problem should be resolved by the Central Office of the Telecom, Kathmandu.
