Parvat accident toll reaches three

PARVAT, Mar 8: The death toll of Sunday’s jeep accident at Maldhunga near the border between Parvat and Baglung districts reached three on Monday afternoon.



Hari Shrestha of Shivalaya-6 in Parvat died on the way to Kathmadu for treatment on Monday.



Keshav Rijal, 15, of Pang-9, Parvat, had died on the spot while Surendra Hamal of Shivalaya-6 had died on the way to Pokhara when a microbus heading to Parvat met with the accident on Sunday.



Police said 16 injured persons are receiving treatment in Pokhara and the rest have returned home after primary treatment in Baglung.
