“Representatives of political parties are queuing up at the EC office to submit closed lists of election candidates under the proportional electoral system,” Rai told Republica online, adding, “The submission process of closed lists under the proportional system will continue till late this evening.”
A total of 124 parties had filed applications at the EC under the proportional electoral system category five days ago.
According to the EC, 130 political parties have been registered at the EC with a view to contest the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) election scheduled for November 19.
