KATHMANDU, Oct 15: The top three parties formed a three-member task force to sort out the differences among them after they failed to reach consensus in a meeting on Thursday.

The parties – Unified CPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN-UML – is in a process to forge consensus on the draft of the proposed resolution to be presented on the parliament.

Maoists’ Dev Gurung, NC’s Arjun Narsingh KC and UML’s Yubaraj Gyawali are among the members of the task force that will prepare the common draft of the resolution

The task force was formed after the parties failed to agree on the draft despite meeting several time – the latest being Thursday’s meeting at the Maoists’ parliamentary office in Singha Durbar.

The Maoists have obstructed parliament demanding their concerns to be addressed and have announced a nation-wide protest program. Maoists’ main demand is on terming the President’s denial to remove the Chief of Army Staff despite the Moaist-led government’s decision as unconstitutional.
