Bathing time!
Depending on how you approach, bathing dog can be both easy and backbreaking. Some dogs are natural water lovers, while others squeak with fears. So in order to avoid the painful experience of bathing your dog, first make sure that you keep the water lukewarm, both during and after the bath to avoid catching a cold. You may wash your dog in the bathtub, its own special tub, sink or out in the garden but make sure that you use a hose or a spray nozzle. When you start, caress your dog to make sure that it doesn´t get scared; scrub him, use gentle movements and be positively involved so that your dog thinks that bathing is fun. If your dog is acting impatiently, bribe with treats! Also make sure you dress accordingly, by wearing either old clothes or raincoat after all bathing dogs can get sloppy and you don´t want to get wet and messy, do you?
Grooming your pet
To maintain the appearance and health of your pets, it is very essential to groom them. Grooming a dog may include washing, clipping nails and filing, brushing hair, hair- styling and even painting the dog´s nails and powdering for some. Be careful when you are taking care of your dog´s sensitive areas like ears, eyes and paws. It is very important for dogs to exercise and have a breath of fresh air in order to remain healthy, so don´t forget to take your dog to a park or an open space in your neighborhood. All dogs appreciate a companion and a nice long walk with its owner, so take your dog for a fun outing, snap the leash on your dog´s collar and let it run and play without any restrictions. If your dog enjoys playing with other dogs, make sure to invite your friends and their dogs over to join you. You can even run with your dog or just take a long walk. If you run, slow down occasionally and let your dog rest for a while. Once your dog is tired of playing around and starts panting, feed him water. Your dog will surely be glad!
