KATHMANDU, Aug 21: Nepal has been defeated to Pakistan with nine wickets in the match at the Emerging Teams Cup Cricket tournament being held in Singapore.
With three defeat at as man matches, Nepal has been out of the tournament now. [break]
Pakistan´s under- 23 team successfully chased a target of 157 runs set by Nepalto win the match with loss of a wicket in 31 overs. Pakistan´s Babar Ajam scored unbeaten 100 runs.
Earlier, after being sent to bat first, Nepal made only 156 runs losing all its wickets in 50 overs. Nepal´s Subas Khakurel made the most 78 runs.
During the match, Nepali batsman couldn´t find easy to handle the Pakistan U-23s side bowling attack as Pakistan players got the early breakthrough and picked up wickets at regular intervals. For Pakistan, Raja Hasan picked three wickets whereas Usman Qadir grabbed two wickets.
