Police Club defeats Eastern Development Region by nine wickets

KATHMANDU, May 25: Nepal Police Club defeated Eastern Development Region by nine wickets in the one-day Prime Minister Cup Cricket Tournament today.

KATHMANDU, May 25: Nepal Police Club defeated Eastern Development Region by nine wickets in the one-day Prime Minister Cup Cricket Tournament on Thursday. 


Electing to bat first after winning the toss, the Region made a total of 104 runs all out in 37.1 overs out of the stipulated 50 overs. The Club achieved the target in 17.1 overs at the loss of one wicket.

As for the Club, Sunil Dhamala scored 52 runs in 49 balls (including three sixes and three fours). Likewise, Dilip Nath and Amit Shrestha of the Club contributed 36 and seven runs respectively. 


Mehabub Alam made 40 runs and Amal Das 13 runs for the Eastern Region team. Sunil Dhamala of Police Club was declared the Man of the Match. RSS
