KATHMANDU, Oct 20: If you’ve watched the Bollywood biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ which was released in July this year, you will probably agree that the movie was beautifully shot. Well, the man behind the incredible cinematography of ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ as well as 27 other Hindi feature films including the award winning films such as ‘1942 A Love Story’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Mission Kashmir’ and ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, Binod Pradhan will be featured in an interaction program organized by Ekadeshma 2013 – Festival De’ Contemporary Cinema.

This Nepali Indian cinematographer will be interacting with Nepali filmmakers, students and general public on a three-hour long session and master class, ‘Painting with Camera’ which will be held at QFX Kumari in Kamalpokhari on October 22 from 11:45 am onwards.

“It’s a big thing for us that such a renowned and talented cinematographer is coming to Nepal. To be able to learn even few things from him or just hear his experience is a big opportunity,” says Abinash Bikram Shah, the Program Director for Ekadeshma. “One half of the session will be a discussion about the aesthetics and art of cinema while in the other half, Pradhan will be sharing some technical skills about cinematography,” informed Shah.

The event is free and open to public. To attend, please book your seat by emailing to ekadeshma2013@gmail.com.
