Padlock disrupts admission process in LLB first year

KATHMANDU, April 4: The student enrollment process in the Bachelor's degree first year has been disrupted due to lockout at the Dean Office of TU Law Faculty. 


Nepal Law Campus Chief Dinanath Parajuli shared that the admission process has been obstructed after the ANNFSU padlocked the Dean Office protesting the new student quota system enforced in the LLB first year.

"This is the time to run classes after completing the enrollment process", he said, adding that the entire process has been halted due to lockout at Dean Office. 


The Dean Office has determined the quota of 500 students for LLB first year in Nepal Law Campus. 


In order to address the issue, the Dean Office has formed a three-member dialogue committee headed by former Rector Gunanidhi Neupane. A number of students pursuing law have gone up of late. RSS
