KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Throughout the 11-day Dashain festival, more than 300,000 passengers used domestic and international flight services. Tribhuvan International Airport Spokesperson Subash Jha reported that a total of 4,000 flights successfully landed and served 360,000 passengers during this festive period.
Jha also highlighted that, notably, approximately 1.5 million passengers exclusively availed domestic flight services during this season, mainly due to the impact of various disruptions on interior roadways.

He pointed out that international flights have also seen increased activity during Dashain, boosted by the tourist season, Dashain celebrations, and foreign employment opportunities.
A multitude of airlines including Budha, Yeti, Shree, Saurya, Summit, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Tara, and Sita Air have been facilitating travel within Nepal.
Furthermore, a wide array of international carriers, such as Nepal Airlines, Thai Airways, Himalaya Airlines, Air India, Vistara, Indigo, Qatar Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Air Arabia, Malindo, Jazeera, China Southern, China Eastern, Cathay Pacific, Bhutan Airways, Druk Air, Air China, Singapore Airlines, SriLankan Air, Turkish Airlines, Fly Dubai, and many others, have been operating regular flights to and from Nepal.
