Outgoing Australian envoy Johnston calls on Home Minister Aryal

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: Australian Ambassador to Nepal, Leanne Johnston, paid a farewell courtesy call on Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal on Wednesday at the Ministry of Home Affairs.



During the meeting, the two discussed the bilateral relations between Nepal and Australia as well as issues of mutual interest and cooperation, according to Home Ministry’s Spokesperson Anand Bhattarai.

Minister Aryal thanked Ambassador Johnston for her contribution to strengthening Nepal–Australia relations.


Ambassador Johnston had assumed office as Australia’s envoy to Nepal on September 12, 2024.
