The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has opened applications for the 95th Oscar Awards.
The International Feature Film Selection Committee (Nepal) has issued a notice requesting anyone interested to submit the application for the Oscar Awards by September 15, 2022. The films recommended from Nepal will get a chance to compete in the category of International Feature.

Only the films which were screened from January 1 to November 30, 2022 in the theaters will get the chance to participate. Nepal should recommend one film to the Oscars by October 3.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, none of the Nepali films were registered for the Oscars in the previous year. But, this year, it is expected that more than six films will be participating in the competition.
This year, Nepali films including Dokh, Pani Photo, Radha, Prakash and Ainaa Jhyal Ko Putali are set to participate in the awards respectively.
The 95th Oscar Awards will be held on March 12 in Los-Angeles, America.
