Opposition parties preparing for mass demonstration

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Nine Opposition parties including main opposition CPN-UML have made preparations for organizing a mass demonstration against the constitution amendment bill registered in the parliament by the government.

The parties are organizing a mass demonstration on January 6 in the capital against the bill terming it 'against the sovereignty and national integrity'.

The UML today directed the party sister organizations to make necessary preparations for the same. The UML Central Publicity department called the assembly of sister wings leaders and directed for the preparations.

The party secretary duo Pradip Gyawali and Yogesh Bhattarai directed the cadres and leaders today at the party central office in this connection. RSS
