KATHMANDU Mar 4: Kapadaa.com, an online shopping platform aiming to cater the Nepali shoppers, has been launched. Labiz & Bryan Fashion Limited started Kapadaa.com amid a ceremony organized in Kathmandu on Monday. The shopping site was inaugurated by Naresh Shrestha, vice president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce. Kapadaa.com that has been providing service in London for last three years will be selling Nepali traditional dresses and other outfits of international brands too. According to a statement issued on Saturday, the online site has been started in order to promote e-commerce in Nepal. Furthermore the Kapadaa.com site will be the first online shopping site in Nepal to sell community-based attires. Nepalis living outside the country can use their debit and credit cards to purchase these outfits, while people inside the country can pay cash on delivery, Bishnu Puri, CEO of Labiz & Bryan Limited, said in the statement. Customers in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Pokhara, Chitwan and Butwal and other areas can purchase garments, footwear, gifts items, cake, school dress, and other several goods through the portal.
