Driver’s license form distribution to resume online from Dec 29

KATHMANDU, Dec 26: The distribution of driver’s license form is going to be reopened from December 29 that was suspended some 10 months ago due to the sudden outbreak of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

KATHMANDU, Dec 26: The distribution of driver’s license form is going to be reopened from December 29 that was suspended some 10 months ago due to the sudden outbreak of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).


The Department of Transport Management issued a press statement on Friday informing that the online distribution of the driver’s license form will be resumed from Tuesday (December 29).

With this decision in effect, the department will now be conducting both the written and practical tests (trial) for driving licenses.


In view of COVID-19 pandemic, the department had suspended all its services except for emergencies.


The department is looking forward to conducting online written tests and practical tests (trial) in all the seven provinces at the same time.
