One killed in Bajura jeep accident

BAJIURA, Dec 29: A person died on the spot while one other was injured after a jeep fell some 200 meters off the road last night at Maliban area of Gaumul Rural Municipality in Bajura district.

The deceased has been identified as Devendra Nath, 38, of Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality-6 in the district.

Police Inspector Kishor Singh Airi said that the jeep (Se 1 Ja 989) heading to Siyadhunga from Ghatmuna fell off the road after the driver lost control over the vehicle.

Police Inspector Airi shared that Madan Rokaya, who works at the ticket counter of Jaya Malika Bus Service in the district, has sustained injuries.
