DHADING, Nov 10: A person died and 31 others sustained injuries when two buses collided at Malinga at Benighat Rorang rural municipality-3 in Dhading district today noon.
The deceased has been identified as Ishwar Bhandari, 40, of Piple of Chitwan district. He was the driver of the ill-fated bus (Na 7 Kha 5281) moving to Kathmandu from Narayanghat that collided with the bus (Ba 1 Pa 977) heading towards Pokhara from Kathmandu, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Dhading.

DPO's Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyam Kumar Mahato shared that Bhandari was critically hurt in the incident was rushed to the nearest health facility where he breathed his last during the treatment.
The rest of the injured ones were receiving treatment at the Gajuri Primary Health Care and other health facilities in the district, police said.
The road accident had caused disruption to the traffic movement on the road for a while but the police resumed the traffic by removing the collided bus off the road.
Meanwhile, a girl child who was critically hurt in a jeep accident at Dahakhola at Bafikot Rural Muncipality-3 in Rukum district succumbed to injury.
Five-year-old Parbati BK died in Salyan while being rushed to Nepalgunj for treatment, informed District Police Office, Rukum's Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sumit Khadka.
A jeep (Lu 1 Ja 2668) moving to Nepane from Syarpu in the district had met with an accident on Friday evening, killing the jeep driver Tekman BK,28, of Syalakhadi of Rukum. RSS
