One injured as bikers open fire in Jorpati

KATHMANDU, Sept 27: An unidentified gang of two persons riding a pulsar motorbike opened fire at a man at Narayantar in Jorpati on Friday morning.



The victim is identified as 40-year-old Indian national Mohammad Sonahak of Motihari, India. The incident took place around at 8:40 am. [break]



Sonahak has received bullets in stomach, and on both of his legs. He has been referred to Maharajgunj-based TU Teaching Hospital after preliminary treatment at a local clinic, said Police Inspector Arun Bhandari of Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha.





Sonahak had been running a tailoring shop at Narayantar in Jorpati.



The detail information and cause behind the incident is yet to be received  while police are carrying out a search operation to nab the culprits and investigating the incident.
