DOTI, June 7: A 19-year-old man who had been staying at a quarantine facility here in the district died on Sunday at around 3 am.
The India-returnee young man was kept at the quarantine facility set up at Sitaram Basic School in KI Singh Rural Municipality-3.
He had returned from India on June 1. It has been learnt that he was a heart patient.
Following his death, a team has been sent there to collect his throat swab sample for COVID-19 test. “We will collect the swab samples of 10 other people who have been staying in the same quarantine and send them to Dhangai for COVID-19 test today itself,” said District Health Office Chief Ramesh Malasi.
His final rites will not be performed until the PCR report comes from Dhangadi.
