The deceased is Sanjeev Sunar, 13, of Bandipur-3. He died while being taken to Lahan for treatment.
Sunar’s father Jamahir Sunar; Sakur Rain, 26, of Sarashwar-8; Abdulla Khatun, 65, of Siraha-4; Ramula, 65; police head constable Nirmala Pandit of Siraha-7; Ram Narayan Yadav of Belha-8 and Ram Prasad Dhungel of Bag Bazaar, Kathmandu were injure in the accident.
They are undergoing treatment at Biratnagar Nursing Home and Lahan Hospital, police said.
According to police, the bus (Ba 2 Kha 3725) heading to Biratnagar from Madar of Siraha overturned at Golbazaar, Asanpur while trying to save a pedestrian.
Police have taken the bus and its driver under control.
