Witnesses said the bus hit the tree as it got uncontrolled when the driver fell asleep, said the Area Police Office Kanchanpur. Injured Subhash Magar and Bhugesh Nagu of Buddhanagar, Kathmandu, Krishna Bahadur Budhathoki of Manipur, India, Dakshanarayan Chaudhary of Belbari-7, Dilliram Rai of Bhojpur, Jitendra Karki of Damak and Anita Rai of Pathari-2 of Morang, have been receiving treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar.
Subhas Rai of Kakadbhitta-11, Santa Rasaili of Budhabare-2 of jhapa, and Kamal Luintel of Shanischare of Jhapa are undergoing treatment at Dharmeswor Hospital at Theliya, said the police.
