HETAUDA, Aug 29: A person has died and two others sustained serious injuries after a Bolero jeep veered out of control and crashed at Amalekhgunj section along the East-West Highway last night.
The ill-fated Bolero (Na 3 Cha 5952) en route to Kathmandu from Birgunj crashed killing Mukunda Sah of Bara district, District Police Office (DPO), Makawanpur said.
The injured are being treated at Chure Hill Hospital based in Hetauda. They were brought to the hospital as the incident site lies at the border with Makawanpur district, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bamdev Gautam said.
The injured persons are reported to be in critical condition. The body of the deceased has been kept at the Hetauda Hospital for an autopsy. RSS
