DHANGADI, April 10 : One person died in a jeep accident that took place last night in Churepahari area of Kailali under the Dadeldhura (Bhimdatta) Highway. Three people were injured in the accident.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kuldeep Chand of the District Police Office, Kailali, said that 18-year-old Bhanu Thagunna of Chure Rural Municipality-6, who was injured in the accident of jeep (Far-western Province 01001 JA 1423) died. Thagunna died on the way while being taken to Dhangadhi for treatment.

Three students including Prakash Dhami and Harish Dhami of Chure Rural Municipality were also injured in the accident. The injured are being treated at Padma Hospital in Attaria. It is said that they were on their way home from Durgalakshmi Secondary School in Attaria, which is about 45 km away, when the jeep they were traveling in met with the accident. The deceased and the injured are students of Malkateswar High School in Chure Rural Municipality.
