The bus was heading towards Kathmandu from Mahendranagar at the time of the accident.
The man who was among the nine injured in the accident died while undergoing treatment at Lumbini Zonal Hospital, Butwal.
Name and address of the deceased is not known. The injured are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Zonal Hospital, according to the Nawalparasi Police.
Five of the injured are in critical condition. The accident took place at around 4 am.
