RUKUM-WEST, Dec 11: A child died and four others were injured in an accident last night in Pakha village of Sisne Rural Municipality-6, Rukum West. The three wheeler, while heading towards Rukum, veered off the road and plunged 50 meters below.
The deceased has been identified as 12-year-old Bishnu Budha Magar of Khopichar, Sisne-6. The vehicle with a number plate (Lumbini Province 02001 Ha 0350) was heading towards Rukum from Pakha village along the Mid-Hill Highway when it met with the accident.

According to an Information Officer of the District Police Office, Him Bahadur KC, the injured are 16 –year- old Mahendra Budha Magar of Sisne rural municipality-6, 14- year- old Sushila Budha Magar of the same ward, 11-year old Sushmita Budha Magar and 40- year- old auto driver Top Bahadur of Sisne Rural Municipality-5. He further informed that severely injured Mahendra Budha Magar, 16, was sent to Nepaljung for further treatment.
KC also reported, the other three are out of a life-threatening condition and are under treatment in Rukum District Hospital.
