JUMLA, Jan 22: In Jumla Chandannath Municipality-8, Rokayabada, one person has died and three others have fallen ill after consuming lentils mixed with wild herbs.
According to the District Police Office Jumla, 35-year-old Deepak Rokaya is the deceased while 38-year-old Til Rokaya, 28-year-old Tanka Rokaya and 30-year-old Paras Dharala have taken ill.
Tanka Rokaya and Paras Dharala are the workers who built Til Rokaya's house. All of them suddenly fainted after eating the lentils. After that, he was taken to Karnali Academy of Health Sciences for treatment, said local Bhair Bahadur Dharala.
Narendra Chand, Deputy Superintendent of Police informed Republica that all three of them were hospitalized and are currently being treated in the ICU.
