One arrested over murder

KATHMANDU, April 19: Metropolitan Police arrested one in connection to a murder. Rajendra Pandey, 29, of Parsa was arrested for the murder of 19-year-old Ayush Gorkhali of Gangahiti, Kathmandu. He was arrested from Dolalghat, Kavre on Saturday and made public today.

Intoxicated Pandey along with his two friends smashed Gorkhali by a wooden plank and stones following an altercation at a local shop. Gorkhali died in course of treatment at TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj on Wednesday.

The whereabouts of Pandey's friends are still unknown.
