Nepal recorded as many as 4,928 new cases and 35 deaths related to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

On the first day of restriction on movement since the second COVID-19 wave hit the country, these places seemed eerie. These areas are known for their vibrancy and bustling environment from early morning to late evening.

It seemed as if the empty roads were also taking a break and breathing in peace. Then, there were those taking advantage of this break — playing, washing and taking deep naps on the road side.
