Oli is the 'villain' of Madhesi people: Dahal

JANAKPURDHAM, Nov 18: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has termed UML Chairman KP Oli as a 'villain' of Madhesi people.

JANAKPURDHAM, Nov 18: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has termed UML Chairman KP Oli as a 'villain' of Madhesi people.


Dahal said that Oli had not allowed the proposed amendment to the constitution to be passed through parliament to ensure the rights of the Madhesi people.

Inaugurating a health center at Ramgopalpur in Mahottari on Wednesday, he said that he will never forget the virtue of Madhesis for making him win the election and secure the post of Prime Minister. "Oli and the UML party did not allow the efforts made to ensure the rights of the Madhesi people in the constitution," he said.


He said that there was no illusion that Oli and UML were anti-Madhes and anti-Madhesi. "Oli is not only against Madhes but also against the country, constitution, proportional representation and inclusion," he said.                           "Is there any confusion left among Madhesi people even now?" He asked, adding, “It has become clear as to who is friend and who is foe of Madhesi people.”
