KATHMANDU: Park Gallery, Pulchowk is adorned with the artworks created by the BFA students of Kathmandu University, School of Arts, Center For Art And Design. The exhibition titled ‘Off the Block’ kicked off on Friday. More than two dozen Kathmandu University students have their work on display at the exhibition.
Senior printmaker duo, Umashanker Shah and Dr Seema Sharma Shah, jointly inaugurated the exhibition. Umashanker expressed, “The prints at the exhibition are evidence that the young generation of artists is taking interest in printmaking which is a good sign for printmaking.”

The prints on exhibition are created using woodcut technique. Most of the artworks are based on the theme of degradation of the environment due to human activities and the effects of the same on Kathmandu city.
The exhibition will continue till Friday.
