Nuwakot DAO asks oxygen industry to halt construction work

Though Siddhi Ganesh Oxygen Gas Industries has completed all formalities to set up its office and production plant, Bidur Municipality is observing its activities after it was found involved in unauthorized activities. 

NUWAKOT, June 27: District Administration Office (DAO) Nuwakot has directed Siddhi Ganesh Oxygen Gas Industries to stop construction of its office and production plant.

The office sent a letter to officials of the industry to stop all construction works, stating that industry was illegally extracting sand from the construction site in the pretext of building office and production plant.

“It has come to the knowledge of the DAO that the industry was mining sand and selling it to other parties. Hence, we have directed it to stop all construction works until investigation into the issue is over,” said Chief District Officer Uddhab Bahadur Thapa. 

“Bidur Municipality wrote to us to halt all construction works after it found that the industry was selling sand illegally extracted from the construction site Jaya Ganesh Sand Processing Industry. We have instructed the police to keep an eye on the activities of the industry,” Thapa added.

Though Siddhi Ganesh Oxygen Gas Industries has completed all formalities to set up its office and production plant, the municipality is observing its activities after it was found involved in unauthorized activities. 

Mayor of Bidur Municipality Sanju Pandit said that the municipality knocked the door of local administration after Siddhi Ganesh Oxygen Gas Industries was found involved in unauthorized activities.
