Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) with the support of Honorary Consulate General of Nepal to Singapore and Honorary Public Representative of NTB participated in the largest tourism consumer fair in Singapore organized by NATAS from July 31.Nepal's backdrop at the stall was a mix of theme on nature, culture and adventure. "People coming to Nepal stall were very inquisitive about Nepal and asked how the country is and people are," NTB said in a press release on Wednesday. "They were happy to know that Nepal is already welcoming tourists, places of tourists interest are safe, and most of the monuments are still standing and rest are rebuilding."
With Silk Air directly connecting Nepal from Singapore and other airlines like Thai Airways and Malindo Air having better connection, Nepal is a preferable destination for Singaporeans. "Nepal's promotional endeavor was covered in many online and print media in Singapore, including TTG," said the release.
Honorary Consul General of Nepal in Singapore Madhusudan M. Patel and NTB Honorary Representative in Singapore Narayan Bahadur Shrestha were present throughout the fair and answered queries of visitors at the Nepal's stall.
