KATHMANDU, August 16: Naya Shakti Party Nepal (NSPN) has expelled leader Ram Chandra Jha.
Issuing a letter of termination in the name of Jha, NSPN said it has stripped him of all his duties and responsibilities including that of federal council member over his recent anti-party activities.
“You have been relieved of the party duties and responsibilities as a federal council member as well as a general member of the party for your involvement in anti-party activities,” reads the letter dispatched to Jha.
On August 11, the disciplinary commission of the party had sought a clarification from Jha over his recent activities against the party.
Jha, who had defected to NSPN from CPN (Maoist Center), has rejoined the mother party.
