FTPT candidate Israjul, 59, of Pipra Bhagawanpur VDC-7, who went to bed on Friday evening after taking meal with his family members, was found dead on his bed today morning, said Sub Inspector Shovan Bikram Rana of Rajpur Area Police Office. [break]
Candidate Israjul had a number of ailments including blood pressure, diabetes. The probable cause behind his death could be cardiac arrest.
His dead body has been taken to Rautahat District Hospital for postmortem, informed SP Govinda Ram Pariyar.
Late Israjul was to contest elections from Constituency-2 of Rautahat.
