NSC sees off Taekwondo team

KATHMANDU, Aug 23: Nepal Sports Council (NSC) has bid farewell to the Nepal taekwondo team on Thursday. 


NSC vice-president Pitambar Timilsina held the function for the team of International Taekwondo Federation Nepal (Nepal ITF).

Nepal is set to participate in the 21st ITF Taekwondo World Championship 2019 to be held from August 23 to 30 in Bulgaria.


Timilisina, founder member of Nepal ITF Lila Bahadur Thapa, joint secretary at the Youth and Sports Council Ana Prasand Neupane, senior officer of NSC Kamal Khanal, vice president of Nepal ITF Bijaya Shrestha, General Secretary of Nepal ITF Anju Rawat, Treasurer of Nepal ITF Basudev Bhatta, executive board member of Nepal ITF Umesh Rajthala, and Rupsing Moktan were present on the 

occasion.


A team of 14 players, 2 umpires, 2 coaches, a journalist, a government representative and 4 officials are going to participate in the event.
