NSC, NTV triumph in volleyball

KATHMANDU, July 2: Nepal Sports Council (NSC) defeated Nepal Television in straight sets to advance to the quarterfinals in men´s volleyball in the First Inter-Enterprise Sports on Thursday. Similarly Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA)-Red and Udaypur Cement Factory advanced into the quarterfinals defeating their opponents.



In chess, NEA´s Bikash Man Lama, Nepal Bank Limited´s Madan Bir Singh Dangol and Nepal Airlines´ Suman Kumar Baidya are on top with 3 points each.



In table tennis, NEA´s Anju Adhikari clinched the women´s single title while Nepal Airlines Corporation´s Nabin Bahdur Shakya and Pradip Rajbhandari won the men´s doubles title.
